Grant Writing Assistant Program for Golf Clubs

Golf Queensland, with the assistance of Red Tape Busters, offers a Grant Writing Assistance Program. Getting assistance for your club is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Step 1 - Download or print the Expression of Interest Form by clicking here.
Step 2 - Complete the form and return it to Golf Queensland.
Step 3 - Red Tape Busters will contact your club direct.

Community benefit funding programs

The Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) Community Benefit Funds Unit (CBFU) distributes revenue from gaming taxes to various not-for-profit community groups throughout Queensland.

We invite all eligible organisations to submit grant applications to the Gambling Community Benefit Fund during the application periods noted below.

Get Started Vouchers
Get Started Vouchers assist eligible children and young people with a voucher that provides up to $150 to help with the costs for membership and participation fees. The vouchers can be redeemed at local sport and active recreation clubs.

Get Planning Spaces
Get Planning Spaces provides funding of up to $100,000 for organisations to develop quality infrastructure planning to improve the quality of decision making and strategic planning for sport and recreation infrastructure across Queensland.

Get Playing Plus
Get Playing Plus provides funding contributions of $200,000 to a maximum of $1.5 million for projects that are new or upgraded places and spaces which increase participation, meet service gaps and address community needs for sport and active recreation.

Get Going Clubs
Get Going Clubs provides funding to support local and regional not-for-profit sport and recreation organisations with a one-off grant of up to $7,500 towards projects that improve club capabilities.

Get Playing Places and Spaces
Get Playing Places and Spaces provides funding of up to $150,000 to assist with the development of places and spaces so that more Queenslanders are encouraged to become involved in the sport or active recreation activity of their choice.

Female Facilties Program
The Female Facilities Program is one of the funding programs that comprise the Queensland Government’s Get in the Game initiative to support sport and active recreation at the grassroots level. The Female Facilities Program aims to assist sport and recreation organisations and local governments to develop functional and inclusive female change rooms and amenities that meet the current and future needs of sport and recreation participants.
